White legs by the canal
Fresno Nightcrawler · Clovis, CA · 2026-08-22 · reported by Jess A.

Saw pale legs moving along the canal bank from about a hundred yards. No torso visible over the embankment. Honestly it could have been a heron in bad light, but the stride looked wrong for a bird and I have watched herons here for years.
